What a week for United’s Academy players
Keen followers of our training galleries and videos will have spotted the number of names from our Academy has run well into double figures.
For example, defenders Di’Shon Bernard, Alvaro Fernandez, Will Fish, Bjorn Hardley and Ethan Laird have all been pictured mixing it with first-team counterparts such as Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Matej Kovar, meanwhile, has resumed working with senior United goalkeepers David De Gea and Tom Heaton, after returning from his loan spell with Burton Albion last season.
As for midfielders, we’ve seen images of Ethan Galbraith, Zidane Iqbal, Charlie Savage and Charlie Wellens trading passes with Netherlands international Donny van de Beek.
