Watch: Cowboys executive has beautiful reaction to son being drafted
The Dallas Cowboys on Saturday used one of their sixth-round picks to draft Kansas State running back Deuce Vaughn, which led to quite a cool scene in the team’s draft room.
Vaughn’s father, Chris, is assistant director of college scouting for the organization and ESPN captured Dad’s reaction to Dallas drafting his son. It was pretty awesome.
You can see the elder Vaughn go over and hug both Stephen Jones and Jerry Jones. Then, he had the duty of calling his son to inform him of the big news.
