While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a lot of issues, one person is shining for their team.

Despite the team’s 3-5 start to this season, Tristan Wirfs has shown dominance on the offensive line.

The young offensive tackle is having a great season, unlike other stars on their offense.

So what are the stats showing with the young offensive lineman this season?

Wirfs Has Only Allowed Two Players To Pressure Tom Brady This Season

In the eight games the Bucs have played this season, Wirfs has only let two players pressure his legendary QB.

With all the other defenders being held back by Wirfs, he’s doing an excellent job protecting Tom Brady.

It’s a bright spot for the otherwise dark cloud over the Tampa Bay offense.

Besides protecting Brady, he’s playing pretty clean ball while holding back defenders.

For the 2022 season, he’s got zero holding penalties and one false start.

This shows his dominance is from skill, despite him being only 23-years-old.

While he continues to be a magnificent star for the Bucs, there are issues on offense the team needs to fix.

Other Offensive Linemen Aren’t Protecting Brady

While Wirfs is doing an excellent job in pass protection, his teammates aren’t helping as much.

During the Bucs’ Thursday night game, their offensive line gave up three sacks.

With Wirfs doing his part to protect Brady, it will be his teammates getting an ear full from the veteran QB.

If they can follow the young lineman’s example, they might give the seven-time Super Bowl champ some better protection.
