Tom Brady Remains Atop The NFL According To His Peers

Though Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady failed on his ultimate goal last season, his fellow players still voted him the top player in the league.

The 45-year-old play-caller sits atop the NFL Top 100 Players for 2022 list and is one of three quarterbacks in the top ten.

It’s easy to find reasons for Brady’s choice as the league’s top player.

He had 5,316 passing yards last season, the second time he went over 5,000 in the regular season, to go with 43 touchdowns.

Those numbers carried him to second in the Most Valuable Player race behind Aaron Rodgers.

More importantly, Brady is still playing at a high level after 22 seasons, and at an age wherein most football players retire.

He declared that playing until 45 years old was one of his goals.

Now that he will fulfill the milestone, he wants to bring another Super Bowl championship to the Buccaneers.

Doing so allows him to complete a rare feat of bringing multiple Super Bowl wins to two NFL franchises.

Brady Is Back After A Lengthy Break

Brady was out of action for a while, leaving a void in the Buccaneers’ preparations for the upcoming season.

However, head coach Todd Bowles did mention that he will return after their preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.

Brady reported after that and revealed that he spent the time taking his family on vacation in the Bahamas.

He also mentioned in a recent press conference that many things are going on.

All can be forgiven if Brady puts up solid numbers again in 2022.

He will have the benefit of playing with Russell Gage and Julio Jones, aside from Leonard Fournette, Chris Godwin, and Mike Evans.
