The Raiders Made Chargers WR Keenan Allen Eat His Words

In a bit of lighthearted NFL news, it’s been a rough 24 hours for Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen. After the Las Vegas Raiders served him a nice serving of humble pie on Sunday, social media has been ablaze, literally, thanks to his “barbecue chicken” remarks prior to the game. To say Raiders players took offense is putting it lightly.

For those who are unaware, Allen stated prior to the game that the Raiders’ defense, particularly their man-to-man scheme, would have no chance against him. His words were, “Barbecue chicken, no doubt. That means they’re dead. You’re going to get to see Slayer.” Following the Raiders’ impressive win over the Chargers, it was obvious the remarks irked the Silver and Black. It was the talk of the town following the game in the Raiders’ locker room. Even Josh Jacobs didn’t care for Allen’s words, clearly using that as motivation to vanquish their hated rivals.

NFL News: Duron Harmon wasn’t done with Keenan Allen just yet…

In a post that’s quickly gaining traction, Raiders safety Duron Harmon took one more shot at Allen via his Instagram account.
