Portland Timbers Briefly

Can the Portland Timbers get a positive result on the road when they play against a struggling Charlotte FC as well snap an average run these have had in the past matches?

Enough with the draws and look for the win on the road or at home where it counts as lately, the Timbers shown the disinterest from some of its players not performing to their full potential.

Its starting eleven has not been playing in harmony and Have not been able to deliver the final and definitive goal to culminate their efforts in the field with a well-deserved victory!

What’s wrong with some of its players not being on the same page? Case in point, Mosquera as well Kamal Miller making a mistake that put LAFC on the scoreboard in the first half.

Still, it’s not Miller’s fault. After all, he’s the only player that delivers and plays with an all-around hustle and passion that he cannot do it alone all game long. This man can deliver memorable matches, but needs lots of help.

Defensively, the Portland Timbers are situated last, and needs to be looking for better alternatives in order to make it work so their keepers can get shutouts.

My ideal players in the backfield should be both Millers Kamal and Eric, and try to give Larrys Mabiala the chance to make a start. Maybe the man can deliver and maybe Mosquera can try to take more seriously his starts in every game.

In the end, I give Phil Neville an A for his effort to put on a winning starting eleven on the field but he cannot do it himself with a lot of players just being unsympathetic to their cause.

 Charlotte FC Briefly

Everyone thought that the arrival of former Aston Villa, Leicester City and Norwich City manager Dean Smith at Charlotte FC was going to be heaven sent in the eyes of this followers.

Somehow, the team hasn’t been playing to it full potential as well not being able to deliver in its most recent matches after not performing to its best of its abilities as well the team not being able to supply memorable performances at home.

The team was built and sent a few of its former play-makers to other European clubs on loan. Still, the management of this team brought the ideal players to reinforce its ranks ahead of this 2024 season.

With a match coming against another team having a tough time earning a win lately, this match-up is considered a first between these sides will bring a positive result to either one to their losing streak.

A tough challenge for the Crown at Bank of America Stadium this coming Saturday, May 5, as both teams are looking desperately for a win and snap their losing streak at any cost.
