The Pope presented with a Martinez shirt
Today, accompanied by Chris Trott, the UK Ambassador to the Holy See and Donna Burford, the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Andy Burnham took the opportunity to personally present the gift to the Pontiff.
The shirt also carried a personal message from Martinez that read ‘Su Santidad, Con mucho cariño, LM.’, translating to ‘Your holiness, with much love, Licha’.
