Chelsea continued their recent revival with a 3-1 victory away to Leicester in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues kick-started the victory thanks to full-back Ben Chilwell, before Patson Daka equalised for the Foxes in the 39th minute.
However, Chelsea restored their advantage in first-half stoppage time through German international Kai Havertz, before Mateo Kovacic added another goal late on.

RED MIST FOR FAES
If being 3-1 down late in the game was not enough pain for Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City, then Wout Faes being sent off in the 87th minute was the nail in the coffin for the Foxes.
A poor scissor-like challenge from the defender on Chelsea youngster Carney Chukwuemeka left referee Andre Marriner no choice but to show the Belgian his second yellow card of the match, and subsequently his marching orders.

MUDRYK SLOWLY MAKING HIS MARK
Since arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk for £88 million in the January transfer window, Mykhailo Mudryk has been used sparingly by Graham Potter both in the Premier League and Champions League.
But the 22-year-old Ukrainian was back in the Blues starting line-up after a couple of matches on the substitutes bench.
Although he struggled to impose himself on the match, he played a crucial part in Chelsea’s third goal, with his header teeing up Matteo Kovacic’s sweetly struck volley.

DEFENSIVE WOES FOR THE FOXES
Since the resumption of the Premier League following the World Cup break, all but one team have managed to keep a clean sheet, that being Leicester.
That run continued when Ben Chilwell volleyed past Danny Ward in the Leicester goal in the 11th minute.
This was the eleventh league game in a row without a clean sheet for Leicester, with only six shutouts in the league all season.
POTTER TOPPLES LEICESTER ONCE AGAIN
Last time Leicester faced a side managed by Graham Potter, it was the Chelsea manager’s final game at former club Brighton, where the Seagulls dispatched the Foxes 5-2 at the Amex in September.
This time, in charge of the Blues, Potter once again led his side to victory over a Leicester side severely low on confidence, as another defeat left Brendan Rodgers’ men dangling dangerously above the relegation zone.

PRICELESS AWAY WIN FOR THE BLUES
Heading into this match at the King Power Stadium, Chelsea were on their longest winless away streak in all competitions in 22 years with no wins in ten on the road.
Despite Ben Chilwell firing the Blues in front against his former side, it appeared that this run was set to come to continue when Patson Daka blasted past Kepa Arrizabalaga midway through the first half.
But goals either side of halftime from Kai Havertz and Matteo Kovacic ensured Potter’s men claimed their first away win in all competitions since October 25th.
CHILWELL COMES BACK TO HAUNT FORMER CLUB
With a Chelsea attack glittered with big money signings, it took a familiar face to the Leicestershire area to dent Leicester’s hopes of victory.
Ben Chilwell’s well-struck volley in the eleventh minute did little to improve Leicester fans’ feelings towards the English defender, as his elaborate knee slide celebration to a corner of the King Power Stadium was met by a chorus of boos from the Foxes faithful.
No problem for Chilwell, as he set his side on their way to a priceless away win.
