The Dallas Cowboys need to trade for DeAndre Hopkins

There seems to be a fire sale happening soon in Arizona. The Arizona Cardinals have seen the departures of key players such as Defensive Ends J.J. Watt and Zach Allen, as well as Wide Receiver Chosen Anderson.

Now with star Safety Budda Baker requesting a trade, the 2023 season is looking bleak for the Cardinals.

Kyler Murray is rehabbing a torn ACL, and his availability is unknown.

Star WR DeAndre Hopkins patiently awaits as he’s made it known he no longer wants to be a Cardinal.

After the Dallas Cowboys traded for Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans, many fans wrote off the addition of Hopkins. That shouldn’t be the case as there is no such thing as a crowded wide receiver room.

Adding Hopkins to the Cowboys ensures there are enough bodies should injuries occur.

As seen last offseason during training camp, the signing of free agent James Washington was a notable one.

Washington was expected to help ease the departure of Amari Cooper and give Dak Prescott another weapon. Instead, Washington suffered a season-ending injury.

The Cowboys looked toward Noah Brown to fill that role.

Although Cooks is a talented receiver, he’s not Hopkins. He has struggled with injuries before and consistency in recent years.

Hopkins on the other hand is a model of consistency.
