The Cowboys Have A Dominant Record Against Winning Teams
The Dallas Cowboys have taken a lot of flack in previous seasons due to their inability to beat teams over .500.
But, that has not been the case this season.
No team in the NFL has been better against teams with winning records than Dallas.
The Cowboys have been battle tested all season.
With wins over the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants (2x), Minnesota Vikings, and Philadelphia Eagles.
They have beaten plenty of teams that will be playing in the postseason.
Also, the Cowboys were able to beat a few winning teams despite Dak Prescott missing five games this season.
The Dallas defense stepped up in those games and helped carry a struggling offense.
But, now since Prescott has returned, the defense has not played as well.
They have been the root cause of double-digit blown leads and have been giving up a ton of yards.
As the Cowboys get set for the playoffs in two weeks, the defense needs to get back to form.
Dallas needs better production from their CB2 opposite of Trevon Diggs.
Also, they have not rushed the passer very well of late, recording only one sack in the last two weeks.
Micah Parsons went from a heavy favorite to win defensive player of the year to a long shot over the second half of the season.
The mentality of the Cowboys’ defense must be the same as when Prescott was out.
Almost every team that will be in the playoffs will have a record of .500 or better.
So Dallas should be confident against any team they line up against in two weeks.
