The Buccaneers May End Up Winning By Default

Throughout the 2022 NFL season, there have been many ups and downs within divisional races.

Every team in the NFC South is within one game of each other, leaving the rest of the season up for grabs.

Currently, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the division at 5-6.

However, the Atlanta Falcons are right on their tail at 5-7, and, while unlikely to catch the Buccaneers at this point, the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints sit at 4-8.

What Does The Rest Of The Season Look Like?

While one might assume that the Buccaneers may run away with the division given their quarterback and overall pedigree, the next six games are crucial for both the Falcons and the Buccaneers.

The Falcons remaining games are against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Saints, Baltimore Ravens, and Arizona Cardinals, and end their season playing the Buccaneers.

If they can win at least three of their next four games, they will be able to apply an immense amount of pressure on the Buccaneers before their Week 18 matchup.

The Buccaneers, on the other hand, are slated to take on the Saints, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, Cardinals, Panthers, and end with the Falcons.

The Bengals, 49ers, and even the Saints could prove to be difficult matchups for the Buccaneers.

Lose two of these games, and they are in jeopardy of losing the division.

The next six weeks are paramount for the NFC South.

Who will end the season victorious?

And will the victor of the NFC South close out the season with a winning record?
