A Texas woman can no longer shop at H-E-B after she allegedly slapped an employee over the company’s self-checkout policy at a store in Spring, according to a report pulled from ABC13. The news outlet said the alleged assault stemmed from the woman having more than 10 items in the self-checkout lane.

The incident occurred at the H-E-B on Thursday, March 2 in Spring, which is located in the Harris County area near Houston. According to the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the woman, identified as Lynda Ukeh, was charged with a misdemeanor assault. She is currently out of jail after making a $100 bond.

Officials said Ukeh assaulted the employee after being told that she couldn’t pay at the self-checkout line if she had more than 10 items. The report didn’t mention how many items Ukeh had. She reportedly returned to the store and pulled the employee’s hair and slapped her in the face before taking off, ABC13 reported.

Ukeh was later arrested at her home. She has a court date on the alleged assault on Friday, March 10.

Last November, a study from Guns Down America ranked the grocery stores that aren’t safe places anymore by listing the number of gun incidents and deaths in each major chain. San Antonio-based H-E-B was named low on the list at No. 9, while Walmart had the highest number of gun incidents and deaths among grocery chains.
