Texans Pass Rush Exposes Weakness in Eagles Line
The undefeated Philadelphia Eagles had what amounted to a scare for them last Thursday when they only beat the Houston Texans by 12 points. They even trailed earlier in the game, so it was a real nailbiter. In all seriousness, though, it was a game where Houston was competitive but I don’t think many Philly fans were overly concerned.
This was probably the worst I have seen Philadelphia’s line play in the three games I have reviewed. That really says much more about how good they have been this year than how they played last week though, because even if they weren’t great, they were pretty dang good. But there were some issues in pass protection, particularly at tackle, that I do want to take a quick look at.
