Fall weather is coming to San Antonio as two cold fronts push their way through the city this week.

National Weather Service meteorologist Ethan Williams told mySA.com the first cold front arrived Monday morning in the northern part of Bexar County, bringing temperatures in the low 90s.

This mild cold front will move south of the county by Monday afternoon and will keep temperatures in the low 90s until Thursday, Williams said.

The second cold front is stronger and arrives Thursday, bringing with it a 20-degree drop.

“It will be more like fall weather later this week,” Williams said. “It will be cooler temperatures than what we’ve seen in the last few days.”

Temperatures will be below average for this time of year, in the mid-70s, on Thursday and through the weekend.
