A teenager was killed Wednesday night after getting hit by a vehicle on a West Side highway.
San Antonio police said the 18-year-old man was darting across the main lanes of traffic on Loop 410 near Marbach Road and U.S. 90, just after 11:30 p.m., when he was hit.

The female driver told police that she didn’t see the teen until it was too late. She stopped and tried to help the teen until paramedics arrived, police said.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
