Sunshine will break through the dreariness this weekend in San Antonio
Bust out the shades this weekend.
Patience, San Antonio. Sunny skies will soon return over the Alamo City.
Friday’s forecast calls for a 70 percent chance of rain in the San Antonio area. Some parts of city could see severe weather including a threat for large hail and damaging winds, forecasters say.
The storms should be out of the area by 10 p.m. leaving behind partly cloudy skies overnight.

On Saturday, you can expect sunny skies with possible wind gusts as high as 25 mph, the National Weather Service says. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s.
Not much will change for Sunday with a forecast high near 90 degrees.
According to the NWS, our next shot at rain won’t be until Tuesday.
