Street racing was believed to be the cause of a four-vehicle crash late Sunday on the North Side, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened just before 10 p.m. at the San Pedro and Cage Avenue intersection, south of North Star Mall.
Police believe that two cars were racing, and at some point, they crashed into two other vehicles nearby. One of the cars involved in the race drove off after the crash, police said.
A woman in one of the cars racing was taken to the hospital with a broken leg. Meanwhile, a second woman from another car was taken to the hospital for chest pain, police said.
It is not immediately clear how the two cars that were believed to be racing crashed.
