Stephen Curry to Return on Thursday

After missing all but four games, Stephen Curry is finally poised to make his return to the Golden State Warriors line. The Athletic’s Anthony Slater reports Curry will make his debut on Thursday against the Toronto Raptors.

Curry fractured his left hand in the Warriors fourth game of
the season against the Phoenix Suns. He’s been out since then, but has been
cleared for a full return to game action.

With Curry back, Golden State will get about a 20-game look
at how their new-look lineup fits together. The Warriors acquired Andrew
Wiggins at the trade deadline in exchange for D’Angelo Russell. Now they’ll
finally get a chance to see Wiggins play with Curry and Draymond Green.

Klay Thompson will sit out the rest of this season for the Dubs,
but he’s considered to be relatively plug-and-play. His return will eventually
give Golden State three players capable of big scoring nights with himself,
Curry and Wiggins. That’s a nice core for the Warriors to build around, as they
seek to get back into title contention.
