Lonnie Walker IV’s star is starting to shine bright, and he’s doing it in a mid-tier level shoe.

Lonnie Walker IV has had a pretty exciting start to December. After struggling to find playing time, the second-year guard is averaging nearly 22 minutes a game and has scored in double digits in 4 of 5 games so far in the month of December. With his infectious energy and knack for the inspiring play, he has been a catalyst for some recent comebacks during this stretch of games where the Spurs have played 4 consecutive overtime games.

First it was the 28-point explosion at home against inner-state rivals Houston, with Walker igniting for 19 points in the 4th quarter alone, single-handily outscoring the Rockets (18 points) by himself. He didn’t see much time in a 105-104 win over the Kings, but his 10 points and energy played a part with the unit that helped the Spurs find some life in what was a mostly listless performance against the bottom-feeding Cavaliers. Before succumbing to a knee injury during yesterday’s game in Mexico City against the Phoenix Suns, Walker was once again playing the part of energy man, scoring 16 points on just 8 shot attempts, which consisted mainly of a myriad of drives to the hoop and a relentless desire to push the ball up in transition:

Walker has been an Adidas man since he entered the league, signing on with the brand ahead of the 2018 NBA Draft. After rocking the Harden Vol. 3 last season, he has shown a preference this year for the Harden B/E 3, an offshoot of the Houston Rockets star’s signature line that, until this model, was an overseas exclusive. The B/E stands for, “Bounce Edition,” with the Bounce being Adidas’ mid-tier cushioning technology. This is in contrast to the main Harden line, which uses the much more famous (and pricier), “Boost,” tech.

Available in a bunch of different color-ways, the Harden B/E 3 retails for $99.99 (compared to $140.00 for the main Harden line) on Adidas’ website and other sneaker providers.
