Spurs Sports & Entertainment has named San Antonio-based Bartlett Cocke General Contractors and Mortenson, a Minneapolis firm, to the development team for the new arena.
Mortenson has engaged in multiple sports projects, teaming, for example, with Marquee on the build-out of new stadiums for Las Vegas’ NFL and Major League Baseball franchises.
Spurs Sports & Entertainment has also secured San Antonio-based landscape architect MP Studio for the planned downtown project.

Buford said. “Bartlett Cocke and MP Studio bring deep local knowledge, relationships and an understanding of this community, while Mortenson offers exceptional experience building some of the best sports and entertainment venues in the country. Together, they understand what we’re trying to build and why it matters to San Antonio.”
