Most of the activity remains limited. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 8:30 p.m. for Maverick and Zavala counties, where storms may produce wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail as large as a quarter. Closer to San Antonio, there is still a chance for isolated, hit-or-miss thunderstorms, but the threat will continue to diminish as the sun sets.

Sunday looks even drier, with only a 20% shot at a stray shower. Showers are expected to be short-lived and limited to small areas, so you shouldn’t need to cancel any outdoor plans. Expect similar heat and humidity, feeling like 100° during the afternoon.
