Soccer Aid for Unicef: Tickets now on sale

Soccer Aid for Unicef co-founder and Unicef UK Ambassador Robbie Williams said: “It is a privilege to be a part of this game. I’ve been to parts of the world where this money goes and seen how desperately the assistance is needed by children – it brought me to tears. We can all help play a small part in making things better with Soccer Aid on Saturday 6 June at Old Trafford.”

Usain Bolt said: “This will be the third time I have played in Soccer Aid for Unicef – I’ve won one and lost one, so this is the best of three! Playing at Old Trafford is extremely special. It’s a world-class stadium and the atmosphere is always incredible. This year the game is on a Saturday night, so we hope that makes it easier for even more families to come and watch us. I got my first goal last year and am hungry for more!”

Olly Murs said: “It hurt so much watching the game last year, seeing the Soccer Aid World XI FC take back the shield. I’m determined that won’t happen this year at Old Trafford with me back playing for England again. I am fighting fit and well overdue my first Soccer Aid goal, so hopefully my new knee will get me that!”

Collette Roche, Chief Operating Officer, Manchester United said: “Manchester United is delighted to be hosting the world’s biggest charity football match at Old Trafford this summer. Soccer Aid for Unicef 2020 will bring two star-studded teams back to the Theatre of Dreams for the seventh time. We look forward to welcoming the football family for an enjoyable fixture, which raises funds and awareness for a fantastic cause.”
