Simon Cowell emerges with shocking face after death hoax: ‘You used to look good’

Simon Cowell prompted concern and criticism from his fans Thursday when he posted a video of himself congratulating One Direction on a streaming milestone.

The former “American Idol” judge’s incredibly smooth-but-changed face caused fans to flood the comments section of his latest Instagram post with questions such as, “What on earth has happened to your face?”

Another opined, “You used to look good before the plastic surgery.”

One fan branded Cowell’s appearance as a “Botox fail” while another agreed, “Too much Botox.”

“Ffs Simon your [sic] a very nice man but please leave your face alone,” wrote one more follower.

The 63-year-old music mogul shared the video commemorating “What Makes You Beautiful” surpassing 1 billion streams on Spotify after he became the subject of another death hoax about a week ago.

“You used to look good before the plastic surgery,” commented one follower.

A digitally altered photo of the “Britain’s Got Talent” judge lying in a hospital bed went viral, prompting fans to believe he had died. Another edited photo also depicted mourners carrying what was suggested to be Cowell’s coffin; however, he is alive and well — and even joking about his “changing face.”

During a recent appearance on the UK talent show, Cowell bantered with a contestant who had made an art piece of the faces of Albert Einstein and judge Bruno Tonioli using Rubik’s Cubes.

“How the hell did you do that?” asked Cowell after the art left all of the judges stunned.

“Practice, lots of different faces. It turns out you have a really difficult face to make Rubik’s Cubes out of,” the contestant, Tom Crosbie, shared.

Cowell quickly replied with a laugh: “I’ll change my face — again.”

In April 2022, Cowell admitted he had gone too far with injectables because he ended up looking “like something out of a horror film.”

“There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other,” he told the Sun.

“There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognize it as me first of all.”

The “America’s Got Talent” judge even revealed his 9-year-old son, Eric, was in “hysterics” over his face.

“Enough was enough,” the media personality said. “There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”
