Schlitterbahn will welcome back guests with a COVID-19 reopening plan. Now, guests will need to reserve their time at the park ahead of time. The reservation system will go online in the days leading up to the reopening. Schlitterbahn said it will let guests know when the reservation system is up though social media and email.

Guests will also be asked to fill out an online health assessment 24 hours before arriving.

The park is asking guests to arrive at their scheduled time only and to wear their masks upon entry. The temperature of each guest will be taken before they can enter. If one member of the group is found to have a temperature reading of 100.4 degrees or higher, the group will be asked to reschedule.

Schlitterbahn recognizes that the pandemic has “created a new way of life for everyone” and has installed signage around the properties to remind guests to wash their hands every 20 minute. Sanitation and washing stations have been installed around the parks.

The  park will also remind guests not to touch their face, wear masks in designated areas, maintain 6 feet separation from other park guests and employees and use contactless payment options.
