Schefter sees Jets or retirement for Aaron Rodgers

After signing Aaron Rodgers to a massive extension worth $150 million in 2022, the Packers seem ready to begin a new era for their team at quarterback. The need for a new start might be mutual.

During a Friday edition of ‘Sportcenter,’ NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the relationship between Green Bay and the future Hall-of-Famer appears to be close to severed. He sees Rodgers taking one of two paths out of Green Bay

“My sense is, ultimately it will come down to whether he wants to play elsewhere — which would be, really, the New York Jets — or whether he wants to retire,” Schefer explained. “To me, those are the two most logical options and likely scenarios here. But we’ve not heard from Aaron Rodgers himself.”
