A 29-year-old woman is accused of stealing jewelry from elderly residents at assisted living facilities across the city, San Antonio police said.

Priscilla Mitchell was charged Thursday with two counts of felony theft $2500 to $30,000 with an elderly charge enhancement.

Mitchell was employed as a caregiver at numerous assisted living facilities in the North and Northwest sides of the city. It appeared she was specifically targeting elderly victims who suffered from memory loss or dementia, SAPD said.
