SAPD: Northwest Side residents, held at gunpoint, use frying pan to foil home invasion
Residents of a Northwest Side apartment complex foiled a home invasion early Tuesday, police said.
The incident began in the parking lot of the Axio Apartments on Cinnamon Creek Drive when a man robbed another man around 12:41 a.m.
The suspect then jumped a fence and attempted a home invasion at the Spice Creek apartments next door, police said.

The victims, held up at gunpoint, retaliated by hitting the man in the head with a frying pan and taking his gun away.
The man, who has not been identified, was arrested by San Antonio police.
