San Antonio’s Elotitos announces opening date for second location

Elotitos Corn Bar announced the opening date for its second location in San Antonio’s Government Hill, according to an Instagram post from the booming local business on Thursday, December 1. The public can start enjoying the new establishment on Saturday, December 3.

After a successful year and a half of business on Fredericksburg Road, Elotitos is opening a second location at 1943 N. New Braunfels. Elotitos’ second location will operate in the same building as Folklores Coffee House.

Owner Jesus Arreaga told MySA the new shop will offer the same corn favorites, including Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, chipotle and jalapeño flavors, as well as the cucumber pineapple agua fresca. However, he added he intends to introduce some fresh menu items to keep the people of San Antonio enticed.

“We’re beyond thankful with our family, friends and loyal customers for being part of this journey,” the Instagram post stated. “Happy to announce our grand opening for our Government Hill location. God has been so good to us.”

The new location will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on opening day with a limited menu.

Since its inception, the shop has attracted attention from everyone from MySA to local influencers like SA Lunchador –  a mysteriously masked foodie that dons a luchador mask while staking out the local food scene.

Before the second location opens, you can find Elotitos at 1933 Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, TX 78201.
