San Antonio Spurs vs. Celtics: How to watch, game time, injury report

The San Antonio Spurs will look to extend their winning streak over the Boston Celtics to three games when they visit the TD Garden on Friday night. Overall, the Spurs have won seven of their last 11 games but are coming off a loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday in their first game with a new starting lineup.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have lost five of their last seven but are on the heels of a 120-111 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. In a January meeting in San Antonio, the trio of DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Keldon Johnson led the way to a 110-106 win over the Celtics behind a 36-point second quarter.

With Derrick White likely out for the season with an ankle injury, Coach Gregg Popovich intends to start Devin Vassell in his place going forward, allowing Lonnie Walker to play the Manu Ginobili role off the bench. He’ll be one to watch after his 18-point performance Wednesday.

Another Spur to watch will be the blossoming Dejounte Murray, who made history against the Heat.
