San Antonio resident scores $1M off a Texas Lottery scratch-off game

San Antonio and its surrounding cities are giving the age old question of, “Who wants to be a millionaire?” a new meaning.

Talk about your everyday occurrences, am I right?

According to the commission, the Electronic Tax Center inside South Park Mall dished out the lucky $1 million ticket. The San Antonio resident has since chose to remain anonymous. (Can you blame them though, have you seen egg prices lately?)

The name of the game for the winning ticket was none other than the $1,000,000 Crossword. (Ironic, no?) According to the commission, this was the fourth out of eight total top prizes worth $1 million in the game to be claimed. The overall odds of winning a prize are one in 3.41, including break-even prizes.

The winning ticket from Wednesday for the Boerne resident was a part of the $20 Million Supreme game. The $20 million prize was the second of four top prizes worth $20 million awarded during the game, according to the commission.
