Authorities believe that a lightning strike is what sparked a house fire on the North Side late Wednesday night.
Just after 10 p.m., San Antonio Fire Department was called to the 19300 block of Allora Avenue for the blaze. Firefighters believe that the strike went through the roof of the house earlier in the night and smoldered for some time before crews were called out.
The home was under construction and not yet occupied. Damage to the home was less than $10,000.
