Revealed: The five players FC Barcelona want to sign in the summer transfer window

An insight into FC Barcelona’s summer transfer plans has been provided recently.

Despite their financial woes, Barcelona had a fairly active January window that saw all of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ferran Torres and Adama Traore join the club.

The latter of that trio is currently only on loan, but Barcelona’s president did confirm he wants Traore to stay:

As well as potentially signing Traore, it has been revealed by journalist Ekrem Konur that La Blaugrana want to sign all of Erling Haaland, Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Franck Kessie and Noussair Mazraoui:

And whilst that may seem like a lot of players for a club struggling for cash, all of them, barring Erling Haaland, are due to be free agents in the summer.

Christensen to Barcelona close

Reports elsewhere this week also suggest Barcelona are very close to wrapping up a deal for one of those five players.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that Andres Christensen has decided to make the move to Barcelona and will sign a contract that will keep him at the Camp Nou until 2027:
