Revealed: The fee Liverpool will have to pay to land West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen

An update on Liverpool’s reported interest in West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen has emerged recently.

Bowen would be signed by West Ham from Hull in January of 2020 for around £19m.

Jarrod Bowen is currently in the midst of arguably his best-ever Premier League season.

Bowen has always been a useful asset for West Ham, but it is in the current campaign where he has impressed the most.

In 27 league outings for the Hammers, Bowen has scored eight goals and provided a very impressive eight assists.

For comparison, only Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold have provided more assists than Bowen this season.

So, it is not too surprising to see Liverpool being linked with the winger of late. And now, how much Bowen would set Liverpool, or any potential suitor back, has been revealed.

As per Goal citing Caught Offside, any deal for Jarrod Bowen in the summer transfer window would cost Liverpool £75 million as that is the price tag the Hammers are said to have put around the neck of the in-form forward, who is generating talk of a possible England call-up.

Jarrod Bowen on potential England call-up

England’s next outings will come later this month when they face off with Switzerland and Ivory Coast in friendly clashes.

Does Jarrow Bowen deserve a call-up for said games?

The West Ham man had this to say on his dream of playing for England earlier this campaign:

“I think this season was about progression and getting the call up for England is the ultimate dream,” Bowen stated.

“That is out of my hands, my job is to deliver on the pitch and show what I am about. That is all I can do, keep putting in the performances and the end product.

“If it happens then it happens, if it doesn’t it doesn’t. I can only control what I am doing. It is not on my mind, the more you think about these situations which are not in your control, the more it plays on your mind and affects you.”
