Las Vegas Raiders have a plan to use the franchise tag
The Las Vegas Raiders took a hammer and smashed their offense’s future last season when they benched and then released quarterback Derek Carr. They want to keep one productive part of the unit for next season.
According to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, the Raiders plan to use the franchise tag on running back Josh Jacobs if no long-term deal is reached by Tuesday’s deadline to use the franchise tag.
