Report: Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl Defender Not Expected Back In 2023

The Jacksonville Jaguars are trying to build a roster to take the next step in the playoffs. The Jaguars made it to the Divisional Round, where they came up short against the eventual Super Bowl-winning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the Jaguars could lose a starting cornerback from the roster.

According to Jeremy Fowler with ESPN, the team is expected to release or trade cornerback Shaquill Griffin shortly. Removing Griffin would save the Jaguars over $13 million in cap space.
