Reds discover World Cup play-off fate

Scotland’s Scott McTominay and Wales’s Dylan Levitt are on a collision course in Path A, as they will face each other in the final for a spot at the tournament if they can get past Ukraine and Austria respectively.

Potential history beckons, with Scotland bidding for a first finals appearance in 24 years, while Wales have not qualified since 1958.

Victor Lindelof and Sweden, meanwhile, are in Path B.

The Scandinavians, who finished four points behind Spain at the summit of Group B, host Czech Republic in the semis, with Russia and Poland on the other side of the draw.
