Rashford selected in Team of the Season
Two former Reds also feature in the best XI – Chris Smalling and Nemanja Matic, who currently represent Roma under ex-United boss Jose Mourinho.
The experienced pair helped the Serie A side make it all the way to the final, only to lose on penalties to Sevilla following a 1-1 draw.
The Spanish victors have four players in the Team of the Season for the competition, the same number as Roma.
The all-star XI was selected by UEFA’s technical observer panel, with Sevilla’s 37-year-old defender Jesus Navas picking up their individual Player-of-the-Season prize.
