Rams Continue To Confound Fans With Their Massive Contracts

Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead continues to prove the myth of the NFL’s salary cap.

He is splurging on player contracts without seemingly considering the limits established by the league.

Snead is having a blast this offseason by bringing in wide receiver Allen Robinson and All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner.

Then, he made sure that their key players got paid in what could be their reward for winning Super Bowl LVI.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford agreed to a four-year, $160 million extension, keeping him with the Rams until he is 36 years old.

Meanwhile, they added guaranteed money to Aaron Donald‘s existing contract, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league.

They also couldn’t forget Cooper Kupp who had a season for the ages.

He simply dominated the opposition by winning the wide receiver triple crown and Super Bowl LVI MVP.

The former Eastern Washington standout was also a First-Team All-Pro and won Offensive Player of the Year honors.

These moves by the Rams have the NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti pointing out the enormity of their financial commitments.
