Raiders linebacker Micah Kiser suffered an apparent leg injury during Sunday’s practice, sidelining him for the moment. In response, Las Vegas signed former Detroit Lion Curtis Bolton, who expressed his gratitude for the team on social media.

The defender out of Oklahoma hasn’t gotten much run in the league, only playing five games for the Lions in 2021. During his limited opportunity, he collected three tackles.

Burton had practice-squad stints in addition to his time with the Lions, being an outsider for the Raiders just days prior. His hard work and dedication have seemingly paid off, earning him an opportunity to play for his childhood team.

Expect the Raiders to make more moves around the margins, as they have their first live opportunity to work out the kinks against Jacksonville in Thursday’s Hall of Fame Game.
