Raiders, NFL sued over Super Bowl ad
A Las Vegas attorney is seeing red over silver and black.
Per Reuters’ Diana Novak Jones , the NFL issued a cease-and-desist order to Steve Dimopoulos and the Dimopoulos Law Firm in Las Vegas over a Super Bowl commercial featuring Raiders DE Maxx Crosby. Dimopoulos followed up with a lawsuit against the league and the Raiders.
According to the lawsuit, Crosby’s contract for the commercial stated he would only wear the firm’s colors and no logos affiliated with the NFL or the Raiders.
However, the law firm’s colors are silver and black, the same as the Raiders, so it appears he’s wearing a Raiders jersey in the commercial. The firm’s logo is a shield, like the Raiders.
