Prepare for a scorcher as San Antonio hits 90-degree temps this week

It’s safe to say San Antonio is done with freezes. Time to unpack those summer clothes as the forecast calls for 90-degree temps and little chance of rainfall over the next week. A Pacific front will move across our area mid-week, bringing a little relief to humidity levels but leaving temperatures in the 90s.

Monday (High 79 and Low 65): The humidity will start to return Monday evening with a southeast wind gusting near 20 mph pumping in moisture. This afternoon could be the last day to see high temperatures in the 70s.

Tuesday (High 87 and Low 64): Humidity levels will still be high and temps feeling like summer. On Tuesday, San Antonio temperatures will start to rise close to 90 degrees. Winds will also still be breezy gusting over 20 mph at times.

Wednesday (High 92 and Low 65): The Pacific front will start to push in dry air by the afternoon. However, the thermometer will still be in the low 90s. Drier air will bring some relief for the evening as temps drop back down overnight.

Thursday (High 94 and Low 65): Thursday brings unseasonably hot weather, with temperatures near 95 degrees. If you have a pool nearby this will be a great day to take a dip.

Friday (High 92 and Low 63): Temps drop a couple of degrees on Friday with a slight chance of rain at 20 percent.

There is still some uncertainty with the weekend forecast. High temps could fall to the mid 80s as a couple of weak impulses start to move through Texas.
