Pre-Brentford stats: Potential centuries for Salah and Alisson

Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker can reach impressive milestones in their Liverpool careers when Brentford visit on Saturday evening.

Alisson is one clean sheet away from bringing up 100 for the Reds, having registered No.99 with a typically assured display in midweek against Fulham.

Meanwhile, the next time Salah scores at home will be his 100th goal at Anfield and see him become just the eighth player in the club’s history to reach that figure.

Salah is one goal short of reaching Steven Gerrard’s tally of 186 in all competitions and moving into joint-fifth place on the club’s all-time scorers list.

Should he score, Salah will equal the club record of scoring in eight consecutive Anfield league games, joining Roger Hunt (1961-62) and Fernando Torres (2007-08).

A win will see Liverpool record their 1300th top-flight victory at Anfield.

This will be the first time since March 2017 that the Reds have faced London opposition in three successive home league games.

The clubs have met 18 times in all competitions, with Liverpool having scored in all but one.

No Red has ever scored a hat-trick against Brentford.

The only Liverpool substitute to score against the Londoners was Takumi Mimamino in this fixture last season, netting just three minutes after coming on.

Diogo Jota has never lost a game in which he has scored for the Reds – he has netted in 31 games, winning 27 (including a penalty shootout) and drawing four.
