Possible thunderstorms and showers in the forecast for S.A. tonight

Updated 8:50 pm CDT, Tuesday, September 1, 2020

San Antonio could see possible thunderstorm and shower activity late tonight through Wednesday morning.

Some of these storms also have the potential to become severe with damaging winds in areas farther north of San Antonio.

For areas in the Hill Country there is a threat of localized heavy rainfall that could produce 1-3 inches.

There is still uncertainty about how far south these stronger storms in the Hill Country will hold together before they reach San Antonio, but rain chances will stay at 40 percent Tuesday.

Another chance of rain may also come Wednesday night.
