Pochettino Reveals Whether He’d Consider Joining Another Premier League Club

Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has said he would love to continue managing in the Premier League if the opportunity arises.

The Argentine has been mentioned as a potential successor to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, while the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle having also been suggested as possible destinations.

Speaking out about his future, Pochettino said he’d prefer to stay in England, although he wouldn’t rule out a move abroad:

“I love England. My idea is to keep living in London but at the same time I am open to different countries, to listen and see what happens.”

Pochettino’s playing philosophy would indeed make him an ideal successor to Guardiola but the Spaniard is not expected to leave the Etihad Stadium any time soon.

The City manager’s current deal does expire at the end of next season, but he has hinted that he is open to extending his stay with the Manchester club.

Were that to happen, Pochettino will likely look to take up another role. The 48-year-old has not bee employed since being sacked by Spurs back in November last year.
