Plan for even hotter temperatures on Sunday
Drier and hotter conditions return to South Central Texas this weekend as high pressure to the west strengthens.
Plan for the sun, heat and humidity again on Sunday. If you’re planning time outside, get out early or closer to sunset.
Sunday will start with a few clouds and lows closer to 80. The afternoon will be a degree or two hotter with highs ranging from 98 to 102, and max “feels like” temperatures will be closer to 108.
Dry and hot conditions continue into next week, resulting in another long stretch of triple-digit temperatures, so practice heat safety if you have outdoor plans.
