The World Golf Hall of Fame grew by four members on March 9, 2022, with Tiger Woods serving as the headliner.

Woods has 82 career PGA Tour victories and 15 major championships. He was the first golfer to hold the titles of all four majors at the same time since 1930. He made a record 142 consecutive cuts, was No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking for a record 683 weeks, won a record 11 PGA Tour Player of the Year Awards. Before turning pro, he won three consecutive U.S. Junior Amateur titles and then three consecutive U.S. Amateur championships.

The other 2022 inductees include Susie Maxwell Berning, who was the 1964 LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year who won 11 times including four majors, including three U.S. Women’s Open, former PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem and Marion Hollins, who was recognized posthumously. Hollins won the 1921 U.S. Women’s Amateur and became known as a visionary golf course developer and architect.

The induction ceremony took place the night before the first round of the 2022 Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, at the PGA Tour’s Global Home headquarters.

These four bring the total number of Hall of Fame members to 164.
