Rory McIlroy has been in the golf spotlight nearly his entire life.
From his early days growing up in Hollywood, Northern Ireland to winning four majors, ‘Rors’ has been a fan favorite.
The 32-year-old turned professional back in 2007 and lit up the golf world as a teenager. He quickly drew comparisons to Tiger Woods and other greats thanks in large part to winning his first major, the 2011 U.S. Open, at the age of 22.
McIlroy went on to claim two PGA Championships (2012, 2014), and an Open Championship in 2014. Looking to close out the career grand slam every April, McIlroy has yet to slip on a green jacket. A career-best second-place finish at the 2022 Masters leads one to think that before it’s all said and done, McIlroy will finish the job at Augusta National.
