SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The two-week marathon in the desert continues this weekend as the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship marches on at Grayhawk Golf Club.
It was a stellar start for Georgia Tech on Friday, as the Yellowjackets held the team lead, and senior Ross Steelman fired a 6-under 64 to capture the individual lead following the first 18 holes. Pepperdine and Arkansas were T-2 after Friday’s opening round.
Wake Forest captured the women’s title on Wednesday, winning for the first time in program history.
With the NCAA Championships comes merchandise, which there is plenty of inside the pro shop at Grayhawk. In addition to the normal clubhouse merchandise, there’s plenty of NCAA flare on display for fans wanting to get their hands on some in the final year of the golf championships at Grayhawk.
