Pep Guardiola has refused to respond to questions surrounding Kyle Walker after the Manchester City star was allegedly involved in a flashing incident.

Police have seized CCTV footage from a venue believed to be in Cheshire apparently showing the England international pulling his trousers down in front of a woman that was not his wife during 90 minutes of lewd behaviour.

According to The Sun, police have interviewed bar staff who were on the vicinity of Walker when he allegedly exposed himself and he may be questioned under caution.

However, City boss Guardiola did not broach the subject when quizzed ahead of his side’s game against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

‘It is a private issue,’ he said. ‘We solved it internally, speaking with him. Of course, this is not the place to talk about the private situations.’

When asked whether footballers need to exercise extra caution when in public places, Guardiola said: ‘Yeah definitely, completely different than years ago. Definitely. They know it already. When you open the door at home you have to know that you will be filmed, whatever you do. It is part of society.’

City’s players were given two days off following their victory over Newcastle United last Saturday, with most the squad deciding to travel abroad for short breaks.

Walker, though, remained in the North West and was spotted going through the gears in training with Pep Guardiola’s squad on Tuesday before they travel to face Crystal Palace at the weekend.

While it is understood that Walker has not broken any club rules, Cheshire Police are investigating after the report claimed he pulled down his trousers to flash at a bar in Wilmslow, fondled a blonde woman’s breasts and kissed her in moments caught on video.

The 32-year-old appears to grind behind the woman, who was not his wife Annie Kilner, 30, while at the Cheshire venue. He had arrived at the bar with male friends at 5.20pm on Sunday after the group had some drinks.

Punters on a night out were reportedly shocked by the behaviour which went on for around 90 minutes until 7pm.

The drunken footballer appeared to drop his tracksuit bottoms near drinkers in footage seen by the Sun.

In response, one of the two women in his group screamed and pointed as Walker laughed with a friend.

The star then appeared to expose himself again after just a few minutes – and only a few feet away from two other women sitting in a booth at the bar, according to the Sun’s report.

He is then said to have walked over to shake their hands and say hello.

More footage from the night seems to show him ‘pawing’ at one of his female friends’ breasts and kissing her. His wife was not in any of the footage seen by the Sun.

Walker’s behaviour came a day after his and Man City’s 2-0 victory against Newcastle United on Saturday.
