The team’s leader hits some impressive milestones in the Spurs win over the Utah Jazz.
Last night, DeMar DeRozan hit his career high as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.
DeMar DeRozan’s 38 points tonight – the most he’s ever scored as a Spur – help San Antonio beat the Utah Jazz 127-120.

In addition to his career high with the Silver & Black, DeRozan also continued a career-long streak.
DeMar DeRozan has scored over 1,000 points in each of the last 10 straight seasons.

That 1,000 points helped pushed his grand total to a new milestone.
DeMar DeRozan just hit 16,000 career points.
Only 6 other players with 16K+ since DeRozan was drafted in 2009:
LeBron James
James Harden
Kevin Durant
Russell Westbrook
Stephen Curry
LaMarcus Aldridge— Jordan Howenstine (@AirlessJordan) January 30, 2020
Without LaMarcus Aldridge, the Spurs needed additional scoring to come from somewhere. DeMar continued his great run of offense by taking over in the fourth quarter and adding to his impressive twenty-two plus average this season.
Congratulations, DeMar. And thank you.
